I haven't had nightmares in years. Man they suck, and they're actually hard to forget unlike other dreams.

Yeah, worst part is the emotional aftershock, where you've rationally accepted that you're awake and it was a dream, but you still have the lingering effects

^One of my dreams consisted of a giant black widow in the corner of my ceiling and my room being half it's size so it's pretty fucking close. Closed my eyes and opened them, I was laying faced down on my bed. Getting that crappy girl voice softly giggling in the distant, like it was outside my window.
