Ace Of Spades was the first FPS game i ever played, and also the first 'real' game i tried out, for me my whole journey started with AoS and i'm proud to be still a part of it's community.

* Goldeneye (my first shooter)

* Jedi Knight II Outcast (light sabers, the force, guns)

* Unreal tournament 2004 (often played a mod that turned it into a RTS/FPS)

* Metroid Prime (puzzle, most interesting single-player)

 

Never invested enough time into something like Marathon. I wouldn't say I really even like FPS's now. I see no reason why I'd like any of the games I mentioned above (except maybe metroid), other than for the reason that I used to play them. And I probably wouldn't bother spending my time picking up a new one, though I still hang onto Halo multiplayer nowadays.
