    Here is copies of both 10.2.1 PC/CE Unpacked from the UPX obfuscation Sehe used. Pretty sure it was the cause of Wine on Linux issues.
    Leave the read-only on the dlls; it will update itself back to its UPX obfuscation version.

    I presume this is for CE, if so make sure your init looks like this

    load
    mapcycle_begin
     
    having the mapcycle command after the load command. I hope that helps.

    Hi!
     
    I've just joined the forum here after seeing this post!
     
    Joiner friendly log mods are actually something I got working on Halo Trial many years ago now.
     
    I've actually spent many hours over the past few months remembering how I did it and then trying it out on Halo Custom Edition and I have made some progress. 
     
    But first of all I better say I didn't come up with this on my own. As DeadHamster has said, someone posted on modhalo.net how to do it. It is a shame that website has gone down now with all of the knowledge that was on there.
     
    Anyway, here are some really rough steps which is the way I am doing it at least:
     
    (yes, this uses HHT and HMT, but I have found that you can edit the Halo Custom Edition bloodgulch with these tools if you edit the 2 bytes at offset 4 which changes between Halo PC and Halo CE versions of the game)
     
    Make Log Client Side Visible
    In HHT
    1) Expand [eqip] Equipment and select powerups\full-spectrum vision
    2) Swap mod2 for mod2 - scenery\trees\tree_leafy_fallentrunk\tree_leafy_fallentrunk
    3) Swap coll for coll - scenery\trees\tree_leafy_fallentrunk\tree_leafy_fallentrunk
    4) Expand [itmc] Item Collection and select item collections\single weapons\plasma_cannon
    5) Swap weap - weapons\plasma_cannon\plasma_cannon for scen - scenery\trees\tree_leafy_fallentrunk\tree_leafy_fallentrunk
    6) Expand [weap] Weapon and select weapons\plasma_cannon\plasma_cannon
    7) Swap BOTH mod2 for mod2 - scenery\trees\tree_leafy_fallentrunk\tree_leafy_fallentrunk
     
    In HMT
    1) Expand [eqip] Equipment and select powerups\full-spectrum vision
    2) Put a tick in the "Unaffected by Gravity" checkbox
    3) Copy NaN and paste it in all 5 text boxes below, overriding the values which were there before
    4) Take note of the 6 hexadecimals in the text box next to the "meta" label, in the "Tag Information" section on top. For example, mine is D08F60
    5) Expand [itmc] Item Collection and select item collections\single weapons\plasma_cannon
    6) Change the respawn time to 32767
    7) Expand [scen] and select scenery\trees\tree_leafy_fallentrunk\tree_leafy_fallentrunk
    8) Replace the 6 hexadecimals in the text box next to the "meta" label with the ones for full-spectrum vision and click Save

    I stand corrected but only because someone I played with on the map I refer said they think it needed to be added to our map folder.  I honestly don't recall having to do that and my response was based on the fact I went through my entire map folders looking for it to either confirm or deny my reply and there's no trace of it.
    This was early on before NeX released his 'Revolution' series, my memory is faded.

    I did a deep dive on what causes phantom BSP a few weeks ago and was able to develop a tool to fix it in compiled scenario_structure_bsp tags. I still suggest you first use the classic tricks like adjusting geometry, ensuring faces in flat surfaces are co-planar, avoiding high poly dense geometry, and preferring 90 degree or shallower angles between faces. However, in a pinch you can use Ghostbuster to fix the tag for you. The tool works by looking for bad BSP3D nodes with dividing planes which incorrectly assume one side is outside the map, and sets that side's child to be the same as the opposite side of the plane. This doesn't have any negative side-effects because the fixes happen deep in the BSP tree where some additional collision checks are still cheap.
     
    Ghostbuster is a Python command line tool based on Moses' Reclaimer library. You can find installation and usage instructions at the GitHub repo:

    I have tested the tool on Danger Canyon and Blood Gulch and observed it removed the known phantom BSP in those maps once recompiled. It has been used on 1 custom map to my knowledge. Given that this is fairly new and only tested for a few maps, exercise some caution and back up your BSP tag before modifying it. Let me know if you see any bugs and I'll try to bust those too
