Anyone bother upgrading drivers/bios prior to install?

 

Just noticed my motherboard only has updates for win7/8 and not on the Gigabytes win10 ready list (have an ancient "2012" Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD4-B3 )

I don't see why you would need a BIOS update (maybe chipset drivers), but most GPU vendors already have drivers for Windows 10.

I think this is automatically disabled if Windows knows you are on a metered connection. But be careful if it doesn't know.

 

For example, if Windows is directly connected to 4G it's pretty obvious the connection is metered. If you're tethering over Wifi to your phone, I'm not sure.

Pretty much all of the privacy settings are available during configuration. I'm not sure how anyone missed them.

I like it so far, having an issue with my Microsoft account, but part from that stuff works.
