I am selling a laptop that I bought back in 2016 that's been an expensive paperweight and has not gotten much use. I originally bought it for travel, but I rarely use it at the hotels. Someone here would most likely value it more.

Newegg Description: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834154111

Asking price is $800 $650 due to the 512GB SSD upgrade, has hardly been used and is barely a year old.

Specs:

  • OS: Windows 10 Home
  • CPU: Intel Core i7 6700HQ
  • Storage: 512GB M.2 SATA Samsung EVO SSD + 1TB HDD @5400RPM
  • RAM: 8GB DDR4
  • GPU: Intel HD 530 + Nvidia GTX 960M (2GB)
  • Display: 15.6" Matte Display @ 1920x1080

I have been able to play the following intensive games on it with decent framerates on ultra/high/medium settings dependent on the game itself:

  • ARMA 3 (High)
  • Battlefield 1/Battlefield 4 (High)
  • Elder Scrolls: Online (Ultra)
  • Overwatch (High)
  • Counter Strike: Global Offensive (High)

I will ONLY ship within the United States, because International Shipping is expensive and the power adapter does not support International power sources like EU.

If you're interested, please inquire about the listing here on eBay.

Tiddy-bits:

"New" doesn't seem accurate for the listing, so it could help to change that.

Quote

A brand-new, unused, unopened, undamaged item in its original packaging (where packaging is applicable). Packaging should be the same as what is found in a retail store, unless the item is handmade or was packaged by the manufacturer in non-retail packaging, such as an unprinted box or plastic bag.

Oddly, this is familiar to you... as if from an old dream.

I've been having issues with modifying the listing. I've been trying to add a custom description with the actual specs of the laptop and it will not save the changes I make or I cannot see them, along with changing the 'new' to 'used.' Might have to contact eBay about that.

EDIT: Belay that. Apparently my script blocker was blocking the description. On another note, why the fuck do they have a separate javascript for a description? O_o

Should all be fixed now and I reduced the price to $650.
