Games That Just Won't Die

What are some games that just won't die? TF2 and Halo CE are my main ones. I don't see how the community on these will ever fully die.

Skyrim because it gets re-released every year.

 

And MCC PC obviously! I mean all the Halo games on PC? What could possibly go wrong? :V

IF the next Elder Scrolls game, which I suspect it will, has good mod support it might end skyrim.

Metal Arms Glitch in the System. Community is still going stronger than a lot of games younger than it.

Counter-Strike 1.6 and Counter-Strike: Source. Despite pretty much the entire community agreeing that CS:GO is clearly better in every way, both those games still keep going. I'm not surprised by 1.6 but Source is hella surprising.

Source surf and bunny hop feels a TON better than CS:GO. Non intended third party game modes feel good in source to me.

That's probably what they said about Oblivion, and Morrowind before that. Still hasn't proven true.

 

I'll add StarCraft (which is f2p now). Diablo (which has mods that allow for LAN games) and DIablo II. (Old School) Runescape. Battlefield 1942. Super Smash Bros: Melee.

I guess it depends on what is meant by "die".

 

I always worry about jagex and OSRS. You never know what they'll do next..

I wanted to include this in my post so bad but the only way to enjoy it that I know of is now illegal.
