Halo Custom Edition won't go over 60 FPS anymore

Hello, I was running Halo Custom Edition at probably 300+ FPS and one day I got back on and it was 60 and won't go back to what it was. I messed with my graphics card settings everything I can think of.. Why is it doing this? I want my FPS back!! Thank you very much!

Tiddy-bits:

Check the Vsync settings. Ingame and driver.

Did you update your video driver recently?

Have you made some changes to your monitor settings recently?

Do you have anything extra set other than -console in the "Target" field on the icon you launch the game from?

Oddly, this is familiar to you... as if from an old dream.

The next step would be to remove Chimera and/or HAC2 to see if that fixes it. If that does, narrow it down to which one, and post back here.

Try changing the resolution down to the lowest and then back to your original resolution.

I notice that when I use windowed mode the game will cap to my refresh rate despite the setting reading otherwise and it takes some messing with the video setting to make it work right again.

I almost exclusively use fullscreen for this reason.

Well, I got rid of Chimera and it works, is there a way I can keep it though and still get those awesome FPS?

Should be. Here's the place to ask:
