Posted December 17, 2017 I need a way to change team of an AI with SAPP. read_word(object + 0xB8) works for objects but not for AI. HSC command (ai_set_team <ai> <team>) can only change to a few teams (player, human, covenant, flood, sentinel) but I need all 16. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Posted December 18, 2017 Seems to work fine so far, I will need to test a bit more. Now I just change the encounter's team before spawning the AI so it wouldn't change the team of those that are already spawned. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I'm not sure what you are trying to accomplish, but my understanding is that the team an AI actor is assigned to is determined by the encounter it is in. Meaning that every actor within that encounter will be on the same team. If you wanted to assign an AI actor to each player, then from my understanding you would want to have 16 separate encounters.
