make pirate.lua script work on specific people

Hello. I got a script from another discord and I don't know who made it so I was told to try posting in here for help.

What this script does is replace words from people's chat with pirate words. What I want to do is make this script work on certain people, but not all people, preferrably by use of admin commands.

Thanks

pirate.lua

002 might help.

I prefer to not help whenever possible, that way you guys can help yourself. I'm not the SAPP script monitor.

Is it not your script?

I don't remember writing it, but I've written a lot of scripts and it's possible that I made it a long time ago. If I did, I never made a topic on this forum about it, nor do I want to.

Regardless, this topic is a script request, not a script bug report. It's not my responsibility to add new functionality to existing scripts, and I'd much rather have other people do it, anyway.

If it is your script, whether you choose to maintain it is your prerogative. However, it seems you've assumed that my question insinuated an obligation, which it didn't. The only purpose of the question was to get affirmation.

As I said in the post you quoted, I prefer to let people here do the script requests.

While I could very easily fulfill most script requests with very little effort on my part, I choose not to for two main reasons. The first is because this is an open-ended forum where multiple people contribute, not just me. This isn't 002's SAPP script requests section; this is just the SAPP script requests section. I don't want people to rely on only me to do things, and this ties into the second reason: there are several other people who are more than capable of achieving the same result as myself.

You can keep responding if you want, but continuing on is unneeded. You already answered the question. As for why you keep explaining yourself further is beyond me. It was only a simple question out of curiosity for whether you created the script or not. Nothing more, nothing less. Sorry.
