If I had to credit a single person, probably stunt_man. But some people kept mentioning this website for various things like a lot of 002's work. Looked like a good place to do Halo map stuff. (Ran out of smurfs to post stuff on Halomaps.org) The raffle sounds nice too.

Tiddy-bits:

I think it was aLTis that showed me this site. I think it was around the time the 1st mapping competition took place.

I was just searching the web for "sapp by sehe" came across multiple but they only had the sapp server tool and example server. But this one actually had a forum which I delightfully clicked on and Im glad I did. Thanks for keeping halo alive!

I found this site when I searched "open source halo" and hit a thread from here in the results with someone rewriting the editing kit or something. I have a big interest in free software and stick to it wherever possible, including avoiding proprietary games these days. I saw a clip of some Halo gameplay and wondered if anyone had made a free software clone of the game yet, considering its age. I did find "openh2" which appears to be under active development and using the MIT license, although using C# for the language doesn't make me confident that it'll work well on GNU/Linux. I probably won't post here regularly, but I thought it would be useful to have an account for later on.

Seems like you'd fit in; welcome!

@Zatarita has been doing a lot of work on tools and documentation for MCC lately, if you wanted to check something recent out.
