Nixie Tube Clock - Boulder by Makenology

Well, 6 years later, it's dead. I tried unplugging the microUSB that powers it, but in doing so the entire socket came out with it, ripped clean off of the PCB.

No sign of strain relief on the port, and the connectors were pretty fused together...

Really small pins on the connector, so I'd have a crappy time trying to resolder.

Oddly, this is familiar to you... as if from an old dream.

What was the life expectancy suggested? Did you get your money's worth? I know you were thrilled when you bought it.

I think because one of the tubes went bad almost right away, it lasted longer than I expected. I'd say worth the money if someone thinks it's cool and will see it regularly.

I bought this one as replacement, which has a really cool second counter: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1195026904/nixie-clock-on-gas-discharge-indicators
