Who are you voting for in the US 2016 Presidential Election?

126 posts in this topic

This is one wild presidential lineup, but I imagine most people already have a preferred candidate by now.

I'm partial to Hilary, but I don't know enough about Sanders at the moment to count him out. I hear he's a cool guy.

Oddly, this is familiar to you... as if from an old dream.

Tiddy-bits:

None of them. Sanders seemed alright in the beginning of his campaign, but if there's anything the whole #blacklivesmatter hijacks have shown me, is that he is not assertive enough and let people walk all over him. I don't even want to get started with Shillary. She's a crook and not a solution to anything.

GOP candidates can blow it out their ass too as far as I am concerned.

I'm pretty sure my dad is gonna vote for Trump.  I asked him about it, and he wasn't very detailed in his explanation "durr trump owns trump tires, he's a self made millionaire/billionaire" (I'm not exactly sure if that's even accurate.  Didn't he get a lot of his success from his father but then nearly lose all of it?) BUT, the man does still have a business and if I'm not mistaken seems to have somewhat recovered from his financial woes.  Whether that was his doing or not, maybe he could do an okayish job at better handling the country's spending.  I think Obama did a great job with things like policies for the benefit of the actual people, but in the process spent a shit ton of money doing it.  Now that some of these better policies and systems are in place, MAYBE Trump would be able to optimize how these things are run to save us a bit of money for maybe another president to play with in the future.

Please keep in mind that I am not politically competent, I am simply making statements on my thoughts from listening to different kinds of sources.  I always try to base my opinions off as many points of view as possible.  I haven't actually been watching any media related coverage of the candidates, or the candidates themselves.

Donald Trump is a paid Clinton shill. He's had a history of donating big bucks to get Shillary as President. If you also think he cares about the American people, and "muh jobs" then tell him to stop having his own personal clothing line all made in... China. He doesn't care about you. In it for fame and Shillary.

Bernie is what I'm extremely cautious about. iTails is right, he was handled by the BLM group. No balls. I admire Bernie's track record, and maybe he's the Dem's own Ron/Rand Paul, but he seems all talk and no show. One thing is to vote, and another is to be the top dog of a nation. I'm not talking looks, I'm talking being assertive. He's been on the $15 minimum wage movement, but he's paying his own interns $12. lol. Is that his bait and switch showing? Promise like Obama? And do nothing for the people?

I haven't studied every candidate, and the most I've done is Ron and Rand Paul, so yes I'm biased. But what I'm worried about is more feminism and liberals destroying everthing: From our way of life to even our own damn video games and media. Don't you remember GamersGate? Don't you remember the explosive rise of Feminist friendly articles and leftist ideals? It was only a while back. And now we have Baltimore and Ferguson. What's next? The states? The whole country flooded by "muh socialism" and "muh oprszzed womyns." A bigger government to control us because isn't that the Socialist way?

I'm conflicted. But the one who stayed on point for me was Rand and Ron Paul. From Fox news cutting them out to commercials, to being alone on capital hill in the mist of losers and sellouts, no one I felt has done what they have done. Where was Bernie when Rand Paul was filibustering the Patriot Act for 13 hours...!? Sleeping? Reading some literature of the people? lol.

Who will defend the federal republic? Who will defend our allies, assets and interests? Who will help lower the debt? Who will build up our military once more? Who will stand strong against Rosh, Meshek and Tubal? Who will combat the constant attack on the family and nation? And some are considering voting for a democrat? Even certain members of the GOP?

Good day. I'll leave you all with this as thought:

1 Samuel 8New King James Version (NKJV)

Israel Demands a King
8 Now it came to pass when Samuel was old that he made his sons judges over Israel. 2 The name of his firstborn was Joel, and the name of his second, Abijah; they were judges in Beersheba. 3 But his sons did not walk in his ways; they turned aside after dishonest gain, took bribes, and perverted justice.

4 Then all the elders of Israel gathered together and came to Samuel at Ramah, 5 and said to him, “Look, you are old, and your sons do not walk in your ways. Now make us a king to judge us like all the nations.”

6 But the thing displeased Samuel when they said, “Give us a king to judge us.” So Samuel prayed to the Lord. 7 And the Lord said to Samuel, “Heed the voice of the people in all that they say to you; for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me, that I should not reign over them. 8 According to all the works which they have done since the day that I brought them up out of Egypt, even to this day—with which they have forsaken Me and served other gods—so they are doing to you also. 9 Now therefore, heed their voice. However, you shall solemnly forewarn them, and show them the behavior of the king who will reign over them.”

10 So Samuel told all the words of the Lord to the people who asked him for a king. 11 And he said, “This will be the behavior of the king who will reign over you: He will take your sons and appoint them for his own chariots and to be his horsemen, and some will run before his chariots. 12 He will appoint captains over his thousands and captains over his fifties, will set some to plow his ground and reap his harvest, and some to make his weapons of war and equipment for his chariots. 13 He will take your daughters to be perfumers, cooks, and bakers. 14 And he will take the best of your fields, your vineyards, and your olive groves, and give them to his servants. 15 He will take a tenth of your grain and your vintage, and give it to his officers and servants. 16 And he will take your male servants, your female servants, your finest young men,[a] and your donkeys, and put them to his work. 17 He will take a tenth of your sheep. And you will be his servants. 18 And you will cry out in that day because of your king whom you have chosen for yourselves, and the Lord will not hear you in that day.”

19 Nevertheless the people refused to obey the voice of Samuel; and they said, “No, but we will have a king over us, 20 that we also may be like all the nations, and that our king may judge us and go out before us and fight our battles.”

21 And Samuel heard all the words of the people, and he repeated them in the hearing of the Lord. 22 So the Lord said to Samuel, “Heed their voice, and make them a king.”

And Samuel said to the men of Israel, “Every man go to his city.”

Probably Rand Paul, if I do vote.

There really aren't any right wing candidates though. There's not much of a true right or left wing at all in the US.

I'm not voting for any of them;

- Trump

Most of his money is his own (his father helped to establish the family name in business and politics), he's a very astute business man, but he is ruthless, cunning, and indifferent about most anything that can't turn a profit. He has changed stance on issues a multitude of times, primarily to "cultivate" an image to gain support or forge business deals.

(As far as Trump being a shill for Hillary, he's not the only individual in this race to have made donations to her or her husband)

- Clinton

Has a trainwreck of a record.

She is under investigation for the lost of $6B in State Department funds, for failing to properly file and report donations to the "Clinton Foundation",  and is also under investigation for the transmitting storing of classified data on private/public severs and communications services.

Benghazi was also on her watch as Sec of State, that fiasco and the deaths of Amb. Stevens, those SEALs are on her shoulders.

- Sanders

"Socialism Lite"

These are literally his campaign issues off his website;

- Income and Wealth Inequality ($15/hr is NOT how you tackle this problem)

- Getting Big Money Out of Politics (This I agree with...to a point)

- Creating Decent Paying Jobs (This isn't something a President can do)

- Racial Justice (Wat?)

- A Living Wage (No such thing)

- Real Family Values (Is using this label to tackle economic issues)

- Climate Change & Environment (Hello pseudoscience!)

- Reforming Wall Street (Will NEVER happen)

- Biden

Never, not even if you paid me. Gave "advice" on national television that would resul in an arresting felony charge if a citizen followed it (and did), publicly displayed classified documents on national television, ect...

He's called the "Gaff Master" for a reason.

-The rest of the GOP line up

Literally absolutely useless;

Rand - "I'm not my daddy"

Walker - "Status Quo"

Kasich - "Flavor of the month, what will he be next?!"

Pataki - "Company Man"

Christie - "Fascism! With an EXTRA side of Fascism!"

Carson - "Little fish, big pond"

Cruz - "Is Carson 2.0"

Rubio - "Is Carson 3.0, now with a Cuban twist!"

Bush - "Bush Lite"

Perry - "Do these glasses make me look relevant?"

Huckabee - "Another brick in the wall"

I'm writing in "Vermin Supreme", because that's about as much as my vote matters as it stands.
