Any experience with T-Mobile?

I'm really considering switching to T-Mobile, mainly because of the unlimited data plan. I'm going to need internet for my apartment in a few weeks and it would be so much easier to just use my phone's hotspot rather than going through all of the effort of getting it installed into my apartment.

Does anyone have any experience with T-Mobile? I'm currently on Verizon with my mother's family plan and I have no problems with it other than being somewhat expensive and no unlimited data plans.
