The game is looking and sounding pretty fucking sweet right now. I feel like we could have some really awesome community game nights when this releases. Like with KF there's a 6 player cap, but assuming we host our own servers I'm sure someone will make a player cap mod again.

For those who haven't played KF and are wondering about the slow motion, it triggers when someone gets an cool kill, often just a combo of headshots, and can be sustained for periods of time. In modded 32 player servers it's pretty annoying, but normal play on hard mode makes it a real life saver.

I play KF and the slow motion peeved me off, in fact it turned me off playing until just recently.

It's really not that bad. It's actually usually very beneficial on higher difficulties, especially classes that can chain zed time. The only time it is ever a bother is if you're literally in the middle of reloading or something.

I totally can't wait for KF2 to hit early access! Definitely one of my favorite games of all time.

I prolly just haven't played it enough.  I joined a clans TS and played with them and it was great to get some guidance about what to buy at the shop.  I have a better understanding now which can only improve by playing more.  I was a L4D2 fan so the change was a bit eeeeeek!

KF1 was definitely a game with very few explanations and that often made newer players cringe at the game, but if you had a good crew to teach you it gets a lot more fun. Hopefully the second one will explain more without completely holding your hand the whole time.
