Although it feels like cheating because I get all the exhilaration of building something cool, but the code was already written for me.

I'm pretty good with spices and flavorings, so I decided to try making jerky. Made a terriyaki marinade and a cajun marinade, gave the cajun a dry rub of a spice blend before the marinade, came out fantastic. 

Probably will slice the meat a tad less than 1/4" for next batch, some of them didn't have much flavor in the thicker sections even though it marinaded for 15 hours, so thinner will definitely help that. If anyone cares I may post the recipes and pics as I make/tweak them

Oh boy, I just got an offer for an internship ~300km away starting in one week. Nonetheless I accepted of course.
