Speaking with the almighty Tucker, I thought I would post some of my work in its very own thread here on the mighty OpenCarnage forums.

 

Here I present to you 'Asylum Ward 'D'

 

 

Heres is an untitled window piece:

 

 

Here is a piece I call 'Please return used trays to the hatch'

 

 

And here is a piece using 35mm film canisters:

 

 

I'm currently working on a much more refined version of the above.

I agree with Tucker.  I kept scrolling back up to the first pic for some reason, it reminds me of 'J' Ward here in Arratt, Victoria.

Love, love, love all the spooky and creepy but history telling images.  Larundel Mental Asylum is another with insane beauty captured.

Thanks, I often explore abandoned mental asylums here in the UK, I've been to Denbigh ("The North Wales Hospital"), Whittingham Asylum and Deva Asylum, oh and the offshoots of all three of them. Very dangerous mind.

Its not photography, but on tuesday night while helping set up the new gallery, I did my first piece of spray art. Generally you use graffiti paint in spray cans for this type of stuff. This type of stuff also spontaneously happens when you have a gallery full of artists in an enclosed space

Where is this gallery anyway?

Its in the old Roman city of Chester, England, UK. We've just expanded and moved our gallery into the city's first dedicated art gallery, this is a bloody old building that was built and designed for gallery purposes, it has the original genuine Victorian front to it too.

 

 

Just put this piece into the gallery, its the refined version of the 35mm film canisters I mentioned above
