There's also some textures that can't be used without some modding, since xbox uses different shaders from PC. That's why shields look shite in PC. Posted May 14, 2014 Shaders look better in PC already.When porting the game to PC, they screwed up a lot of the shaders. I remember a long time ago I posted on Bungie.net pretty much going "WHERE DO SHINY AR GO? :(" phil posted a fix for it a long time ago on modhalo. Here are some example screenshots he gave for the AR specifically It affected more than just the AR obviously but it's the clearest example. Posted May 14, 2014 If I recall, Pepsi posted a fix for the AR among other things a long time ago. Pretty sure it was a .ppf patch you apply to your bitmaps file and the changes would effect all maps/levels that don't have their bitmaps internalized of course.
