Microsoft is finally fixing IE's image

Tiddy-bits:

It's going to take more of a commercial to fix that.

They can't expect people to just give it a chance again after such a reputation, they're not going to be able to sell it just by offering their word that it's improved enough to be relevant again.

Oddly, this is familiar to you... as if from an old dream.

I sold a laptop yesterday. They returned it.

One of the reasons:

"The internet is slow as hell."

They were using internet explorer. >_<

One of the reasons IE is failing is for the simple fact of speed and the interface. Not that I found IE hard to use, but I found Chrome or Firefox much faster to use than I did IE. It may be a secure browser, but in a way, it's too secure.

I'm not a web dev either, but I know from word of mouth people hate doing special treatment on their sites for IE.

These are so retarded that I closed to page and added it to my block list on Chrome so I would never look at it again.

Who are they trying to target with the ads anyways? The people who consciously avoid IE are people who are tech-savvy and know that IE sucks no matter what. They should just stick to their market of old people and lazy people who just use the default Windows Browser.
