I've already done some work on it, so I'll give you a teaser:

It also has a decent chance of running on Windows given that it's in C++ rather than Objective-C.

This is what Samuco is working on now.

 

Code from Archon and Proton is being recycled into "Electron", which can run as an MD plugin, or standalone for PC or Mac.

It IS in game... thats the screenshot I posted of HaloMD with dynamic water reflections  :D

I could make it look *exactly* like Archons screenshot but I'd need to remove those pesky waves.

Haha, I think this is too unstable to bundle with HAC2, which so far does a really good job of improving Halo while being basically invisible.

What we need is something like MD's extensions, which can be enabled or disabled.
