Whoa. I wonder why the title of this topic broke. Allusion doesn't do anything with soft protection!

Tiddy-bits:

The logs say it has only been edited once-

Tucker933 edited topic title from [Halo PC/Mac] AllusionCL Scenario Editorroof-of-Concept: "Soft" Protection to [Halo] AllusionCL Scenario Editorroof-of-Concept: "Soft" Protection

It had that from the beginning =p

Oddly, this is familiar to you... as if from an old dream.

Well, can the "roof of concept: "soft" protection" part please be deleted? I didn't make or even think of soft protection until a month after, so I'm not sure where it came from in the topic title.

Fixed, but for future reference you can edit the title yourself too, by going clicking on the full editor button when editing.

I like this. Would be better if your apps had a GUI of some type, but meh. This is pretty nifty.

Few months of bumping, but I thought it was worth it. I was very limited on tools for making things cross-platform. The GUI version for OS X only had the movement of player spawns, not the scenery stuff. Thus, I chose to withhold releasing a GUI version of THIS particular version for OS X for fairness with the Windows users here.

I'm going to write a GUI version of this program very soon that will be for both OS X and Windows. No promises, but I may have it have even more control over the scenario editor, being able to add slots to the scenery palette manually, and stuff. Doesn't that sound cool?

That's definitely a big plus. Currently you pretty much have to go through sparkedit to add a scenery tag to a map with PC tools, which can be....unpredictable.

Pretty nifty. Would've been amazing years ago, it's terrible that now all the things we've always wanted are finally coming to fruition. I remember how excited I was when I was making collision boxes bigger or smaller, if we had things like we do now with the active community we had then, it would have been wonderful. Many a good mod was lost to HMT.
