Space Engine

Planetary Rings

1Ah4RqK.png

An attempt of a collage (skybox export sill kinda buggy)
That lila 'planet' is actually classified as a brown dwarf star which is orbited by the planet in the foreground. The dwarf is then orbiting that bright star in the distance. A binary star system.
NVcbJT1.png

A minor bug where an asteroid would collide with the orbit of a moon.
Too bad Space Engine doesn't have a collision system, yet.  ^_^ (Objects just pass through each other)

And ultimately: a star cluster with a black hole orbiting each other

Black hole in front of star

Orbit paths getting optically manipulated by the black hole. The distortion gives a nice resemblance to my avatar. :) (colours edited in Photoshop)

A time lapse video of the stars orbiting the black hole (in true colour)
