Yeah, the video isn't the greatest quality, but as for the "darkness" on DI, the sky is a thunderstorm moving in from the coast, so the ring is visible along with some sun peeking through the clouds, and the rest of the sky has a lot of cloud cover with lightning effects in the clouds as well as corresponding sound effects.

ight, figured I'd update you guys. I just overhauled the whole tagset, reorganized the assets, and added some new content. The new first person arms look pretty badass TBH. Also have new Halo 4 announcer souds for some gametypes and kill awards, and a new flag and oddball. Also have some new grenade effects. Here's some vids and screenshots

Obviously this is pretty rough-and-tumble at the moment, I even had to break out the CE tools to get some of the effects to work with the spartan model, but it's all going smoothly. I also managed to chop off about 100MB of dead weight from the map. I'll start working on new shaders for everything, i'll keep updating with screenies of the tagset soon.

Chill Out

 

Chill out is still tentative, since there are UV unwrapping problems with some parts of the BSP. Not sure why the original model wasn't just smoothly unwrapped, but it has a tendency to skew the textures in some very noticeable places. I'm still on the fence on whether to replace it with a flat, bland texture so it's not evident, or stick with the texture I currently have and like, which works well for over 90% of the map...not sure. I'd like some more feedback

I'm not even that big into graphics edits and I enjoy seeing this stuff. I really like that alien ship floor, for some reason.
