Do the pictures have to be uploaded to a hosting site of some kind first? I used to use Tinypic before they went away. Yes, the usual recommendation would be to use Imgur. Here's a video of how to properly embed images from Imgur for reference once you've uploaded the image there. I'll use a picture of my dog as an example: https://i.imgur.com/1AY7pEz.mp4 Just upload, right click the image, copy image link, and past the link. It'll automatically embed the image. Unfortunately, right now, there's no support for GIFs and MP4s anymore unless it's from YouTube or else I'd embed that, too. (P.S. I know that you already know how to do this as it's in your OP but I figured I may as well post this here for anyone else who has questions regarding it) This is also a great way for me to not so subtly find an excuse to upload a picture of Draco to OpenCarnage. Posted October 1, 2020 (edited) Are there RSS Feeds for the site/sections of the site? Trying to streamline my setup and having that would be very nice. Edit: btw if it's obvious to find feeds I apologize in advance. I'm on mobile away from PC right now and I'm not seeing anything. Posted October 1, 2020 Yes. Go to My Activity Streams on the top-right corner, click Unread Content, and click RSS on the top-right corner of that. Enclusion likes this
Posted October 1, 2020 Each section has their own RSS feed at the bottom right of their page, and any activity stream also has RSS associated. So you can make custom RSS feed sthrough that if needed. Posted January 4, 2021 I see a a view count on posts that are pretty high relative to the regular posters. How accurate are these view counts? Are they bloated by bots and spiders or are there really that many people coming around? Sunstriker7 likes this

Was hilarious. Takka likes this
Posted January 4, 2021 (edited) Some sites have the feature where your browser will let you install the app to your home page as a seperate item. Currently (Firefox) I can add this site to my home screen but it's really just a link to open a new tab. Other sites, on the other hand, have enabled the install feature which makes the icon open a seperate process. Makes keeping things sepersted nice. The term for this might be progressive web app but I might be confused. If this software supports it I'd love that.
