So he now has a carved cave, and if it collapses it'll be a caved carving.

It's to allow for slightly better index selection. For example, a ping of 40ms will end up being bumped up to 66ms by default and that'd force the no-lead implementation to use data from 66ms ago where clearly data from 33ms ago would be more appropriate. It's also useful if you want eke out that little bit of additional accuracy by interpolating between two points in time to fake a higher frequency than 30Hz (hint hint), although it does require a bit of extra work thanks to the mostly undocumented structures that need to be manipulated.

    Thanks m8

Thanks, although I would totally not pay money for this whatsoever.

I've made way better beats but I had literally 0 idea what this was going to be before I started so for a little loop it came out okay. also, not sure if serious.

Haha, well I uploaded the finished MP3 just for you. It's in the OP.

The muttering style of the vocals and keyboard typing sounds really added an extra layer of depth to it. Great stuff!

    (I tease.)

Debating the issue of the petition's accuracy, though, is a mistake because it implies that it's okay to remove a game that MIGHT actually fit those terms, which it's still not.

The ability to say "I don't want to buy this" doesn't seem to occur to them. Instead, they write a petition so retail stores could prevent them from having to make that decision.

There's a lot of violence in that game. Since it seems to include violence against women, it is therefore considered "sexist". There should only be violence against men (which is also sexist?). If you don't like games that have "violence against women", then don't buy them. It's that easy.

Knightscope confirmed that the current generation of their patrol robots are vulnerable to being tipped over after bystanders witnessed a horizontal patroller calling Life Alert and telling the operator, "help, I've fallen and I can't get up".
Until self-righting mechanisms are perfected, I think we're safe from a robopocalypse.

Good example of why the death penalty shouldn't be a thing.

Nah, it was 1.10. The code had a check for the manufacturer ID - if it worked with your Nvidia card, there's a chance that it was receiving the wrong ID for whatever reason (multiple cards, integrated graphics, Nvidia using a different ID, etc).

I'm not an idealist which is precisely why I can acknowledge that the legal system will make occasionally make mistakes and with the death penalty, innocents will be executed.
"It is better and more satisfactory to acquit a thousand guilty persons than to put a single innocent one to death". Only rather than being acquitted, we're talking about serving life in conditions that I'd hesitate to call luxurious.

I don't, partly for the same reason as given above.
For me, that's all there is to it. Nothing more.
  23. NeX liked a post in a topic by Btcc22 in Halo: Revolution
It wouldn't be difficult to stop the game from caring about whether the checksums match (server would need to be modded) but I don't think it's a particularly good idea. Somebody proposed it for the 1.10 patch but thankfully Sawnose didn't do it.
Stock maps should be left stock and if you want to start messing with 'joiner friendly' mods (read: usually invisible teleporters and broken physics) then rename them properly so players don't have to break their keyboards in frustration when it takes them ten attempts to find a server that isn't broken in some way.

I read that all of the appeals make the death penalty more expensive in the end but I've never looked into it myself, given that my morals aren't guided by cost savings.
