Why not use an abstract representation in memory? Then you can implement mapping to file and to memory much easier?

Assembly is not worth learning if you're trying for a marketable skill. It is invaluable in general though because it forces you to program procedurally - and a different approach/viewpoint is useful.

Was tripping on acid with a couple bros and decided to walk to the park to toke and came across a couple more people. A hackeysack sesh later and we all decide to go down into the woods to toke. When we come up, there are a bunch of police waiting. I was just starting to peak when they questioned me and I had no idea what the fuck was going on, so I ended up handcuffed and shit was just sucky. I'm not a minor so I tried to walk away once they told me why they were charging me and was told "no, you're not under arrest but you can't leave because I'm processing" "processing?" "in my mind" I just looked at my friend who wasn't tripping to see if I had actually heard him right and was just so confused. I ended up walking to a friend's house but he was having a party it wasn't really the right environment. My ride got detained so I had to walk home:(
