1. Yeeeeah no Windows 10 for me anymore. gg, Microsoft. :^)
2. Original Topic NOBODY CARED WHO I WAS UNTIL I PUT ON THE MASK Replaces Briar and Classic Briar. I've wanted someone with a Payday mask in KF2 for a while. Why not Dallas? I tried to do things a little bit differently with this release, especially considering his head has LOD models. It should be a little more optimized than my other playermodels. He blinks like Louis does, and he has variants as always. First-person arms, all that fun junk. Both characters are the same, but Classic Briar has an additional face texture and the classic Briar voice. This is clientside, meaning you can play online without breaking your perks! Have fun, I have a feeling people will enjoy this one. To Install: Read the readme. It's called readme for a reason. Screenshots: Let me know if there are any problems, there probably will be. This should at least hold everyone off until a mutator is made.
3. I don't see it making too much of a difference, maybe it's just me. Thanks though.
4. Original Topic GRABBIN' PEELZ Replaces Donovan. Donovan / Coleman needs some love too, and who better to replace him than Louis? Rather than working in some cubicle at Horzine, Beta Louis looks more fit to the zed apocalypse than his nerdy final-version. This release is a tad bit different, considering it actually replaces the original portrait textures and he has eye rigging. Louis blinks, yeah. As always, this is clientside, meaning you can connect to servers with it and not break your perks. With the portrait textures being replaced, you have one less file to worry about. This should work fine online, I've tested it and had no problems. Credit to Splinks for the original rigging and anything else that might've been done beforehand. His first-person arms are reskinned Foster arms, since they didn't look that great. If you want the original arms for accuracy purposes, post and I'll drop a link in the topic. To Install: Read the readme. It's called readme for a reason. Screenshots: Let me know if there are any problems, there probably will be. This should at least hold everyone off until a mutator is made. (I know his hat isn't any different, sorry about that. )
5. KF2's already as moddable, people just haven't made mutators yet. The functionality is there, if someone would get off their lazy butt and make a mut. Hell, certain people have already made playermodels. The process is pretty much the same for both games, I can definitely say that there will be as many if not more mods for KF2 as there are for KF1. 1k hours in KF1 teaches you a lot.
6. Original Topic DOODLEDOODLEDOODLE Yup, it just works. I've been toying with custom characters a lot lately and I felt like doing something simple, so this came out of it. The mannequin model comes from here and the pencil model comes from here. I put everything together, made preview pics, designed the alternate skins, all that junk. He replaces Tanaka, making him replace another character would be difficult since I've already prepared everything. As always, he's totally clientside, which means he works online! On a client's game, not meant to be installed on the server! Perks intact, yadda yadda. I'm also aware his glasses and headphones are misaligned. Due to multiple characters sharing the same model from a certain package, I can't easily reposition them. If it's really a problem, then post and I'll tell you how. It requires hex editing. To Install: Read the readme. It's called readme for a reason. Screenshots: Let me know if there are any problems, there probably will be. This should at least hold everyone off until a mutator is made.
7. Dunno if this has been posted.
8. Original Topic B O O M More neon weapons, coming down the tube. I've always thought that a neon MB-500 would look nice, and I (lazily) got around to making one. By default, the glow color is a nice shade of lemon-lime green. Third-person textures are included and the brightness should function well with bloom. Tested. To Install: Extract the contents of the .rar archive to the MB500 folder in your KF2 Steam directory and overwrite the mesh files. This is located in: steamapps\common\killingfloor2\KFGame\BrewedPC\Packages\Weapons\MB500 Screenshots: UPDATE 5/27/2015: Specular image changed to remove light effects on neon portions. Should make it look less iffy in brighter areas. Comes with variations! Yeah, you know the drill. Install after you get the main weapon, extract to the same folder. Simple enough. Lemonlime is the default.
9. Original Topic FRUITYBOOTY Replaces Ana. This works too. Somewhat. Aside from that broken neck. I wanted to replace Ana with something for a while, and Lilith seemed like a good candidate. I made extra textures, shoddily rigged, all that. Anyway, it works. Lilith replacing Ana. Neck is a little iffy, but use a scarf if it bothers you that much. To Install: Read the readme. It's called readme for a reason. Screenshots: Let me know if there are any problems, there probably will be. This should at least hold everyone off until a mutator is made.
10. You forgot where you join a public server on Normal with 5 players then break all the lights and weld the doors to 4%.
11. Original Topic KNOB OFF YOU TOSSPOT Once Classic Masterson came out, I knew this had to be done. As cool as it is playing with Alan Wilson, why settle for him when you can have the original? Due to TWI having all of the character data in a single file (Thanks! ) There's not much I can do in terms of completely replacing cosmetics. Not to mention that both characters share the same body. As a result, this release replaces both new Masterson and Classic Masterson. The only difference is that Classic has more face options and he has the original helmet. Plus the KF1 voicepack. As with KF1 Foster, this release comes packed with some modified textures and first-person arms from KF1. All that fun stuff. Sorry Alan, maybe we'll find another use for your face! To Install: Read the readme. It's called readme for a reason. I've intentionally left out the ARCH package in this character, due to content updates! You HAVE to use the tutorial in order to install him. Screenshots: Let me know if there are any problems, there probably will be. This should at least hold everyone off until a mutator is made.
12. Original Topic WUBWUBWUBWUB Working more black magic and abusing UE3 is fun, making neon weapons out of it is even more fun. I got bored and started toying with some things, looking at the medic's glowing weapons, and a bright idea came into my head. A bright yellow one. This is a clientside weapon skin, which means it works online without any errors! Just install and go, the default boomstick skin will be replaced with this one. To Install: Extract the contents of the .rar archive to the Double_Barrel folder in your KF2 Steam directory and overwrite the mesh files. This is located in: steamapps\common\killingfloor2\KFGame\BrewedPC\Packages\Weapons\Double_Barrel Screenshots: UPDATE 5/27/2015: Specular image changed to remove light effects on neon portions. Should make it look less iffy in brighter areas. (I know the third-person mesh has a different stock text, I had to keep dat symmetry.) That's right, now with variations! I've been on working this for a short while, and I figured it'd be usable rather than having to deal with that plain color I've supplied. Install this after you get the main files, open the .rar file for the color you want and extract the files like you would everything else.
13. Original Topic ♥♥♥♥♥ MOAR! Here, more neon skins. I made this one before the boomstick but never got around to changing the color or making a third-person texture. All of that is done now, and the Neovel is finished. As always, this is completely clientside and works online! Don't worry about perks being broken. Install and go. To Install: Extract the contents of the .rar archive to the Crovel folder in your KF2 Steam directory and overwrite the mesh files. This is located in: steamapps\common\killingfloor2\KFGame\BrewedPC\Packages\Weapons\Crovel Screenshots: UPDATE 5/28/2015: Brightness lowered. Color variations! Yeah, just like the Boomstick. More colors, joyjoy. Extract them to the same folder that you did everything else, you have to download the actual skin first! V2 uploaded.
14. Welcome to Hell, enjoy your stay here.
15. Original Topic FOSTINATOR TAKES ROUND ONE It's about time, I've been thinking about doing this for a while. This is a raw Skin Wrap, meaning I simply posed Foster over the base model and did no touch-ups to the rigging whatsoever. His hands have been doubled in detail for that purpose, making his fingers easier to "rig" in Max. Anyway, KF1 Foster comes to KF2. The original model has been ported, as well as first-person arms from KF1 with Foster's texture. His magma texture from KF1 has also been ported, and PinkiePie645's Dosh skin has fittingly been applied. No voicepack, but I might be able to fool around and replace his voice with Alan's. We'll see. Anyway, enjoy.
16. The one and only doctor, that shoddy modder who always hides unreleased junk from people and teases them with screenshots. :^) Yeah, I'm here. NoirSuccubus from TWI forums, Zedek the Plague Doc on Steam. Expect loadsacontent from KF2.
17. LOADSAMODS KF2 mods, very popular apparently. :^)
18. Soon enough.
19. Original Topic MEATBAGS Replaces Scully. Scully's fun to mod because he's got so many replacement options, the same with Foster. After downloading an HK-47 model and seeing how many textures it came with, Scully seemed like a good choice. So here he is, in all his robotic glory. Comes with an HK-51 variant and other skins, plus self-illumination on his eyes. Clientsided too, meaning you can connect to servers without mismatch errors! Go grab him, you meatbags. To Install: Read the readme. It's called readme for a reason. Screenshots: Let me know if there are any problems, there probably will be. This should at least hold everyone off until a mutator is made.
