  1. sorry about that. I've made the post changes using plain text when I was informed by you that the post was a bit too loud. Please if you get a chance too, check it out... thanks.
  2. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- This is the definitive solution: Verified By Me: «RG»Joey Information were I've gotten my proof from: http://hce.halomaps.org/?nid=105 Please Read on and, be relieved of "wall hacking cheating" forever!!!!! -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Halo Custom Edition Article Additional Features & Fixes in Halo CE 1.0 “Show Player Names” – A switch that toggles the displaying of names over teammates heads. Toggling this feature on will permanently display all friendly player’s names regardless of where they are in the map. Toggling this feature off will restore back to normal Halo name displaying behavior. This key defaults to “F3” but can be reassigned in the controls settings. For now, I think that the process can accomplished / executed by the server if a script that pertains to the server is ran. I hope this helped (maybe a script that would alter the hackers FOV. The script would make his Field of Vision maxed out, or set to the minimum everytime the cheater cheats! Regards, «RG»Joey -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
  3. In response to: "Waiting for space to clear "mssg" Sorry for the long response .. .. .(blah.. blah.. blah.. I know I repeat myself a lot when I'm explaining something that involves typing. I guess the reason is to explain the subject in a different perspective. so , please bear with me. Thank You, Joey -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- When I get that message "waiting for space to clear" while playing on a halo custom edition server, I do the following for myself! Anyway here's my solution: (works for me) read on.. All you have to do is change your team: Which can be accomplished by going to the halo menu. From there, you have the opportunity to choose what team you'd like to start the game off with. (red or blue) If the problem is there when you are blue, then switch to the red team. (whew).. its simple when you think about it. Sometimes when I join a server it just keeps on beeping and putting the same message. but I found out the answer accidentally. :remember: there are 2 team's no matter what game halo or halo custom edition that you are playing. 1 red team and the other team would be blue. If you attempt to join a server and get the message, then just try what I recommended. It works for me. so if there's a problem joining the server with being one color.. then Try to change to red first: if successful, then they game will resume from where you left off at. (ta-dah). -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- if that didn't work.. then just switch to the blue team (it's set that way by default). It's because I only have one player on the map! You need both. If you don't specify a blue player, then the game goes into that stage. Add a player on the opposite team using sapien and compile again. done. I hope that helps. Regards, aka: Joey

  6. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Hey.. <smiling without my dentures that I lost!> -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- I was wondering, if anyone could please try to help out a 66 year old lover of halo custom edition game map making. I still, to this day, am trying to make a simply animation from scratch for halo custom edition. My problem is, I really don't know how to export the animation that I've made using AutoDesk 3ds Max 2009. Is there any way of anyone making a tutorial from scratch, for making a simple animation, and putting it into the game? I'd greatly appreciate it. -=-= Merry Christmas and a Happy noob Year!! -=-= Thanks in advance! x-dec
