  1. My Daughter is a Registered Nurse and since graduating Nursing school she's been one of the nurses caring for a patient with Parkinson's on a private duty basis. Sadly, the gentleman passed away during the night Saturday apparently choking in his sleep. No one's sure why the nurse on duty wasn't there to help him. Aside from the sadness of the family's loss my Daughter is now out of a job.
  2. It's going to be 93f/33c Saturday and 98f/36c on Sunday here, I'll be spending the entire weekend indoors.

  10. Spring finally began here today, 60 and sunny.
  11. I hope you get paid for overtime.
  12. I feel your pain regarding the commute, mine is about an hour and 15 minutes.
  13. Don’t try to make sense of her magic. Whatever you do, don’t reduce her to nothing more than a series of coincidences you can liquefy into meaningless qualities, so that you don’t feel guilt about letting her slip through your fingers. No matter how many times you tell yourself that what you feel is a pull that isn’t worth giving into, she will still be there—the pulse within your skin, the breath on your neck and the hardness that you wake to each morning, with no chance of fulfilling it in the way that you crave to. She’s magnetic and charming—all while drowning you in the sweet epiphany that they were right all along: women like her do exist. She's the Fire that you Fear

  22. I've run into an "interesting" issue with Halo. My PC is running with an AMD Ryzen 5 1600X CPU, 16GB DDR4 RAM and a Nvidia GX960 4GB, the OS is Windows 10. I was playing Halo tonight and then quit for a bit to surf the Internet. When I restarted Halo it was as if I was running a new installation for the first time. I was being asked to create a new profile yet when I typed Iggy for my profile name it said the profile was already there and indeed it's in the savegames folder. All my audio, video, network etc. setting were at their default settings again as if it were a brand new installation being run the first time. I deleted the Iggy profile then adjusted all my settings to where I wanted them and all was fine when I played, but when I quit and restarted all the settings were gone again. Any help would be seriously appreciated.
  23. So sorry to hear that Losing a pet can seem like you've lost a member of the family.
