  1. I've slept every night for the past year with the ceiling fan on. For the past month, I've also slept with a fan blowing in my face. Apparently people think fan death is a thing.

      Yeah. Allegedly, if you sleep with a fan on inside of an enclosed room, you will die from a varying amount of causes of death. One cause is because the fan will replace all of the oxygen molecules (O2) with carbon dioxide molecules (CO2), asphyxiating you... Another is because you get hypothermia... Or you can die from heat stroke if it's extremely hot, because it concentrates the heat on you... Or the fan generates enough heat to kill you... That kind of stuff.

      Too many causes, and none of them make sense. You can die from heat stroke if it's extremely hot, but you'll die regardless of if the fan is on. That's what air conditioning is for.

      oooh that stuff. I thought mythbusters actually busted the whole oxygen thing? I don't see how it was a myth in the first place though. If the fan is going to replace all of the oxygen, why wouldn't it do it during the day when you're awake? So dumb.
