Halo will not accept cache files where the header says its filesize is greater than exactly 384MiB (~402MB on OS X or Linux). The limit is easy to remove, though, and I have written a plugin on HaloMD to remove this limit.

Actually, SP maps suffer the same limits. If you try to load a map that exceeds 384MiB, Halo may crash.

I could have sworn I've seen SP maps compile fine upwards of 500MB.
