I suppose from the gaming aspect, not many of us would upgrade to what is the inferior operating system, but it does have a few interesting features for those with touch screen monitors or tablets. I currently have the consumers preview of Windows 8 on my laptop and the only thing that annoying, is the fact that you're no longer allowed to disable the Metro interface. You were allowed to do so in the developers preview. Something that really annoys me is, once you've minimized Metro, its just Windows 7 minus the Start icon, which in my opinion they should of left it there. When you go to the bottom left hand corner, you have to wait for a small window to appear to go back to the Metro interface. [imo]All in all, its best for web browsing, facebookers who barely know how to use a PC.[/imo]

Now that windows 8 is only a few months away from release, has anyone else had chance to test out the public preview, and will you be upgrading?

Same here. When the internet disconnects for more than 30 seconds, WHAM they spam the power button like theres no tomorrow, making it 5 minutes longer to reconnect. I<3AccessList - My family think my mothers eldest child's laptop is damaged, because the wifi doesn't work on our connection >

For some unknown reason, Skyrim is quiet. I had the same issue with Dirt 3 not so long back, but i managed to fix that by editting Rapture3d or something like that, settings. I've checked multiple forums for a solution and none have worked. And yes, my sound is on high.
