  1. My hubby usually buys the parts from the local Best Buy store. I don't know of anywhere else that he shops for that stuff. I'm pretty sure my laptop that he got me came from there. As far as the desktop, he built that himself. But like I said, I"m sure the parts come from Best Buy.
  2. I'm waiting to see what kind of games they're going to announce for the new Switch console that Nintendo will release in March. I hope they make a Luigi's Mansion game and I'm sure they'll make a Mario Kart game to name a couple.
  3. The computer will be left on during the day, regardless if it's being used or not. However, it does get turned off at night and allowed to rest when everyone is asleep. I kind of see no reason to having it on overnight because I see it as a waste of electricity when no one is using it for that long a period of time. During the day time, multiple people use it at different times of the day so I see no reason to turn it off during the day.
  4. Currently, I have 2. One in the living room and one in the master bedroom. There is one in the spare bedroom but I don't count that since it wasn't working properly the last time it was turned on and it isn't even plugged in at the moment anyway.
  5. I believe my laptop was around $600 to $700 at the time I bought it. The desktop, now I don't have any idea how much that cost because my hubby built it himself. I may take a shot in the dark and say that he's probably spent more on it than my laptop but I can't say for sure.
  6. You may have heard by now that Nintendo has come out with the console Switch that will come out in March of this year. What do you think of the console? What kind of games do you think they'll make for the console or what kind of games do you wish to see for the console? What do you think Sony and Microsoft will come out with in their next console to compete with Nintendo?
  7. I've noticed that the price of games have climbed up to $50 or $60 a piece. I remember when games weren't more than $25 to $30 a piece. How high do you think the price of games have to get before people get hesitant about buying them or they quite buying them altogether?
  8. When did you start playing video games? What was it that got you hooked? I started when I was around 5 or 6 years old. That was when my parents actually bought the first console that was meant for the whole family. I got hooked on the Mario game that came with the console and it was all over from there. I think they did end up getting a Zelda game later and I enjoyed that game as well. But Mario ended up being my favorite.
  9. How much money do you think you spend on games? I'm sure it wouldn't take much to rack up a few hundred dollars, especially since games are at least $50 to $60 dollars a piece these days. I don't think I"ve bought more than 5 or 6 games a year. It depends on how many games come out that I like.
  10. I would love to have Mario Kart on my phone. I have been a big fan of the Mario Kart series, especially the Mario Kart games. I hope this comes out pretty quick.
  11. I drink lots of water or gaterade when I have to work in hot weather. That always helps cool me down, plus, it rehydrates me and replaces nutrients that are lost when you sweat.
  12. What type of games do you spend the most time playing? For me, it is the Mario games and Donkey Kong games and the Harry Potter games. Mostly games that have a storyline and you play through that storyline with a certain character. I like those kind of games because you have to actually think to get through them.
  13. Last game I bought was Donkey Kong : Tropical Freeze for the Wii U. It's been a good game. It's one of my favorite game series I like besides the Mario series and the Harry Potter series.
