What are you PC temps under load?

6700K Stock Speeds with a Noctua NH-D15S

Under non-synthetic loads, encoding with Handbrake v0.10.5
60C/140F under load

Tiddy-bits:

I recently took note of my temps while running the Witcher 3, and my CPU under load (like 30% in this case) was on average about 65.  Some cores were 60, some were almost 70.  I have been meaning to get a better CPU cooler from the start but never got around to it.  Last time I rendered something which wasn't too long ago my cpu would average in the high 70s at 3.9GHz.  My GPU rarely gets much higher than 60, I don't usually OC it much and it has its own 120mm rad which I outfitted with an aftermarket Cougar fan to replace the stock one.

My laptop's temperatures get to around 100˚C when Minecraft is running, if that counts. Seriously, my laptop is more like a lap toaster than a laptop. When idle it's 47˚C.

For my desktop, the CPU cooler is a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO with a Corsair ML120 Pro and the GPU's cooler is MSI's stock TWIN FROZR VI cooler. The CPU isn't overclocked, but I've gotten 4.5 GHz out of it while remaining under 1.4 V (I personally wouldn't use 1.4 V without a more powerful air or water cooler, but 4.6 GHz was the best I got at 1.4 V). Deltas are colored. The GPU isn't overclocked, either, but I got 2139 MHz out of it with maximum allowed voltage.

In all tests (except for the one Power saver test), the power settings are set to High performance. Also, MSI Afterburner and HWMonitor are running in the background.

Idle:

CPU: 22˚C (649 RPM) @ 4200 MHz

GPU: 32˚C (0 RPM) @ 165 MHz

SSD: 26˚C

If anyone wants to know what Power saver does at idle:

CPU: 20˚C (632 RPM) @ 800 MHz [-2˚C]

GPU: 32˚C (0 RPM) @ 165 MHz [+0˚C]

SSD: 24˚C [-2˚C]

This is when ffmpeg is encoding a 10 minute 1080p 60 FPS video of Halo Custom Edition for 10 minutes:

CPU: 56˚C (1864 RPM) @ 4200 MHz [+34˚C]

GPU: 34˚C (0 RPM) @ 165 MHz [+2˚C]

SSD: 30˚C [+4˚C]

This is AIDA64 for 10 minutes, stressing the FPU:

CPU: 63˚C (2109 RPM) @ 4200 MHz [+41˚C]

GPU: 35˚C (0 RPM) @ 165 MHz [+3˚C]

SSD: 31˚C [+5˚C]

This is Unigine Heaven for 10 minutes (1080p, max settings):

CPU: 47˚C (1530 RPM) @ 4200 MHz [+25˚C]

GPU: 69˚C (1188 RPM) @ 1924 MHz [+37˚C]

SSD: 33˚C [+7˚C]

This is Unigine Valley for 10 minutes (1080p, max settings):

CPU: 50˚C (1588 RPM) @ 4200 MHz [+28˚C]

GPU: 69˚C (1184 RPM) @ 1924 MHz [+37˚C]

SSD: 36˚C [+10˚C]

All parts' temperatures increased when not at idle, even parts that weren't necessarily being stressed. Water cooling would likely improve this.

CPU (i7 6700k): 52C (Prime95)

GPU (GTX 1080): 71C (FurMark)

Oddly, this is familiar to you... as if from an old dream.
