Nearly all of the Halo canon was butchered after Halo 3, which is what I followed the series for, so I can't really take that aspect seriously anymore.

 

That said, the gameplay is looking great for Halo 5. I'd consider grabbing it if it were to be available on PC.

To think, Microsoft made the decision to finish Halo at its absolute prime. Halo 3 really was the absolute pinnacle of what the franchise could be and they had the respect for the IP to finish it there. An absolute masterpiece... Really, it's wonderful.

The work Bungie did on H̴̢̛́͟a̢̕l̴̶̸̡ơ҉͢҉҉: Reach as a brand new IP was a good decision. Then the amazing work 343 did expanding that new IP with H̴̢̛́͟a̢̕l̴̶̸̡ơ҉͢҉҉ 4 was excellent. I really hope this brand new IP that's in no way related to the Halo we all know and love takes off.
