Killing Floor 2 Gore Goes Next-Gen With NVIDIA GameWorks’ PhysX Flex

Tiddy-bits:

Dammit. =|

Well, there goes all my frames, because I can't pass this up, and must force PhysX on AMD again.

Times like this make me glad I have an nvidia card now. 8)

Although, I wish nvidia would share.

I wish they hadn't gone with PhysX, but I admire that they're actually doing something nice with it.

What's the alternative? PhysX is something people just add to a game; not something they choose between two options with. The particles in the game, without PhysX, are already freaking fantastic.

AMD uses Havok, but they don't have enough money to push developers to use it like nVidia has. =\

Oddly, this is familiar to you... as if from an old dream.

Nvidia might not be playing nice with others but I respect their right to keep their work proprietary. They also are some of the only people that I've seen that have this level of physics consumer ready (other than maybe havok).

Interestingly, KF2 will be the first game to include Flex at release.

Tripwire sure is obsessed with blood and gore.

Not to say that is a bad thing of course.
