Tiddy-bits:

Love tech, especially when its used to improve life, opposed to destroying it...

I love how, "saves children's lives," is in quotes; makes it sound like it raises questions such as, "can what they're experiencing even be called 'life' anymore?"

I look forward to the day when 3D printers become as ubiquitous as paper printers.

I love how capitalism eventually feeds upon itself, providing to the masses, at a constantly lower price, the tools necessary to reduce the environmental destruction and unnecessary duplication of goods and services associated with differential advantage.

Also ironic is how the free-market has provided to the masses the means of education at such a low price (actually, virtually free nowadays with Wikipedia and YouTube) so as to have produced several generations now who have bitten that hand that fed them, by which I mean the rise of the populist left. This of course is in no way a bad thing.

The populist right too, of course, the operative term being populist. :)
